Write for Classical Guitar Canada!

Write an article for Classical Guitar Canada and get your name recognized by thousands of weekly viewers. Simply write an article relevant to the site (see the categories on the sidebar).

Topics: I would love to hear about your guitar experiences, whether it be a concert, masterclass, lesson, motivation, or festival summary. I’m especially interested in Canadian content but other articles will also be considered.

Examples:

I may decline to use your post because it is not relevant or because I’ve been publishing other material like it. I may even decline to use it simply because it is not in-line with what I’m trying to build here at Classical Guitar Canada. So don’t take offense.

I may edit the article: I might edit the article slightly to reflect the theme and vibe of the site and/or make it more accessible for readers and google-bots!

Tips to getting an article accepted:

  • Be positive: I’m looking for positive experiences
  • Don’t overly-promote your own self-interests

Exclusivity: Unless we’ve discussed the exclusivity of the post in a previous conversation, I ask that the posts you submit to the site are written exclusively for use by Classical Guitar Canada. It just makes more sense to centralize the post here. Don’t worry, I’ll link to your site and boost your traffic and profile.

How to submit:

Just send me an email me and I’ll let you know if I will publish it.  If I don’t, hold onto it and publish it somewhere else.

Please note that I don’t promote commercial sales unless it’s part of a:

  • Review: you can send me products, recordings, sheet music, and more and I may review it.
  • A story or news: a Canadian news update that I think readers will enjoy

Did you want your name on our list of Canadian guitarists or ensembles? Here’s what you need:

  • Online documentation: a website of your own, or a reputable website with your bio on it or, someway for people to find out who you are and what your qualifications/talents consist of.
