Classical Guitar TAB (Tablature)

I don’t recommend TAB very often but for those of you who need it here are some goodies. One area I really don’t mind recommending tab is for technique so that students with poor reading skills can at least get going on their technical skills.

Learn to read music folks, TAB is a guitarcentric thing. Other musicians can not communicate with TAB and it’s very hard to grasp musical concepts and composer intentions without real sheet music!

Technique:

  • Pumping Nylon in TAB by Scott Tennant - This is now a required book in every classical guitarist’s library. The focus is on real muscle memory work and dexterity rather than comprehensive musical information. Get your workout with this must-have book.
