An invitation to Brad’s new blog

I’d like to invite you all to my new blog: Anything Heard (www.anythingheard.com)

This does not mean I’ll be stopping work, or even slowing down, here on Classical Guitar Canada. I just needed a place to talk about music, not necessarily guitar. I hope to see you over there. You can also join the facebook page.

What is this blog?
a music blog
the musings of Bradford Werner
a place for brad to explore musical experiments
whatever I find interesting on the web

Where did the name of the blog come from?

“Anything Heard” is based off Paul Ziff’s “Anything Viewed”.

Paul Ziff (1920—2003) was an American artist and philosopher specializing in semantics and aesthetics. In “Anything Viewed,” a chapter in his Antiaesthetics, he proposed that “anything that can be viewed is a fit object for aesthetic attention”, and none is “more fit than others”.
